Two avid photographers seemingly conjoined to their cameras from birth established Luminosi Studios, Makati in 1997. To them, photography is not so much a profession but an artistic expression and passion. The primary photographers of Luminosi Studios: Igor Maminta and John Edward Taca have established themselves in other fields and ventures but still chose to pursue their vision of photography by establishing the studio. The group’s focus is advertising photography but has expanded to weddings. Their approach to photography is to continually strive for fresh, natural but captivating photography. Luminosi Studio’s graphic arts team prides itself with creative and stunning post processing to further raise the appeal of their photographic work. With their combined Film SLR and Digital photography experience of over 35 years, Formal Photo Journalism and darkroom techniques in the US and Design in The London Institute Central Saint Martins School for Graphic Design in the UK, a mix of traditional and non-traditional backgrounds, the Luminosi Studios team promises to always give it’s clientele the best of classic and contemporary photography. Recently, the team has also trained under today's best international master photographers: Martin & Ryan Schembri We keep ourselves abreast with the newest lighting techniques and principles, fresh composition styles, color management, advance post processing techniques, on location and studio shooting management, professional business practices and yes, top gear.
